Why wash my house before painting?
Paint and stain need a clean surface to stick. Washing removes the mildew, dirt and chalky old paint that can keep a new coat from bonding. It is one step of a good paint job, along with prep and quality paint.
Can power washing damage my shingles or siding?
Too much pressure can. We set the pressure for each surface and use lower pressure on cedar shingles, trim and older wood.
Do you wash decks, walkways and patios?
Yes. We wash decks, steps, walkways and patios, including before a new deck stain.
Can I wash my house without painting it?
